As my friend & I IM'd tonight (or should I say last night, as it is now past 12 am) and she suggested that I start my own blog filled my "mommy momments". I had contemplated starting a blog several times, but as with so many other things in my life, I just never got around to it. SO, I figure there is no time like the present. I am completely new at this, so I apologize if this is a little rough... Hopefully, I will get better at it as I post more.
For those of you that are interested, I hope you will visit this blog often. I DO plan to give updates on the family, but mainly, I will probably be filling it with fun stories about the kids and my "mommy momments". That said, I'll start off w/ the following.
My sweet Markay turned 3 years on Sunday and was very excited having recently experienced her older brother's birthday. She's been a little confused though, because we didn't have her birthday party yet. We decided that we wanted to be sure to have good weather so her party is not until the 17th, 13 days AFTER the actual birthday. SO, every day she comes in and says something like, "Mom, is it my birthday today?", "Oh, nobody will EVER let me have a party!" The other day as we were talking, she said ,"Mom, I'm 4 today!" She hasn't quite grasped the concept that a birthday is just once a year... She keeps it up, by the time we have her party next weekend she will be turning 16. I don't think I'm quite ready for that one yet.
